my 4 days intra-gulf block...
now back to my updates on my previous block... well, the pax load was okie... not full thru out the entire sectors except for the last sector from abu dhabi back to bahrain.... it was full and i have 6 1/2 carts.. with only 5 crews working!!! can u believe it, what made it worse was we have only 40 mins... as it was a short flight... which includes the taking off and preparing for landing time... but luckily on this flight we have some deadheading crews... (meaning, non operating crew but in uniform) so they helped us with the service...
anyway, yea, as i was telling u tat it was a total screw up at my 2nd day of that block... we were suppose to operate to islamabad on the 1st day mid nite, but guess what... there was a big delay... and the call time from the hotel was changed to next morning 7.30am... which no one from the hotel actually called us to let us know the change. we a few of us including myself... happily changed into our uniform with make up on etc... to the recept..., the worse tat there was the caller to wake us up at that time at 10.55pm!!! we were so pissed... i tell u!!! it was like almost 12 midnite, imagine we were all so tired, as were just arrived tat noon. anyway yea... and the following morning, the caller din call us to wake us up... instead, we called them... hahahaha.... and she said the time has been changed again... what's new with GF? sigh.. anyway, finally at 7.45am we got our final call! anyway, this is the picture of the hotel room which i stayed in tat day...
well, tat's not the end of the story for tat morning... we were suppose to be operating on a airbus 330 to islamabad with 11 crews, ending up we operated on a boeing 767 with 7 crews, so the rest of the crews either stayed in the hotel wait for further notice or they were asked to operate to lahore... gosh... isnt tat a messed up planning...
anyway, on my flight on the boeing, we had a lady first officer from britain, her name's caroline... this is her. how cool is tat, hehehe...
this is the islamabad airport, check it out man.... on your right. well, here are some photos taken on this block below. is a pretty fun and enjoy group of crews, on the last day of the block from cairo, we had drinks and play cards in one of the crew's room. most enjoyable time.
